Britt Burner, Esq. is the Managing Partner at 明星黑料, a women-owned law firm serving clients from New York City to the East End. The firm concentrates in the areas of Elder Law, Estate Planning, Trusts and Estates, and Real Estate Since joining the firm in March 2014, Britt has been the driving force behind the firm鈥檚 Manhattan office, focusing her practice on elder law and estate planning.

Britt has distinguished herself as a leading elder law and estate planning attorney, most recently being recognized as the 2026 鈥淟awyer of the Year鈥� for Elder Law in New York City by Best Lawyers.

In 2025, Britt was named as a Super Lawyer for the second consecutive year in the field of Elder Law. Super Lawyers, part of Thomson Reuters, is a rating service of outstanding lawyers from more than 70 practice areas who have attained a high degree of peer recognition and professional achievement. The annual selections are made using a patented multiphase process that includes a statewide survey of lawyers, an independent research evaluation of candidates and peer reviews by practice area. She was previously selected as a Rising Star Attorney for six consecutive years by the same publication.

Britt is active in the Elder Law community, as the immediate past Chair of the Elder Law and Special Needs section of the New York State Bar Association. Britt previously served as the Chair of the New York City Bar Association Committee on the Legal Problems of the Aging. She is also a member of the New York State Bar Association in the Trusts and Estates section. Britt frequently lectures to consumer and professional groups, including presenting Continuing Legal Education content for attorneys.

In addition to her Bar Association responsibilities, Britt is a Charter Member of the Advisory Council for The Katz Institute for Women鈥檚 Health at Northwell. The Katz Institute is a leader in women鈥檚 health, dedicated to improving the quality of life for women by providing education resources, prevention, wellness programs and clinical care. As a Charter Member, she assists the leadership of the Katz Institute by assessing, evaluating, and appraising the programs of the Katz Institute to support and advance its mission. In 2025, Britt furthered her commitment to healthcare initiatives by joining the Northwell Health Board of Advisors Steering Committee.

Britt received her undergraduate degree from Boston College and her Juris Doctor from Brooklyn Law School where she was a Notes & Comments Editor of the Brooklyn Law Review. Britt is licensed to practice law in New York State. She lives in Manhattan and Westhampton Beach.
